Tia finished her AKC Championship on May 6, 2001 by earning a four point major (Best of Winners) under Judge Kimberly Anne Meredith! She is pictured below after winning her first major as BOB under judge

Tia came to live with us at 7 months of age, after we convinced breeder Fran Lass that we would love her just as much as she did! She has been a wonderful addition to our group.
BEST IN SHOW, BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW WINNER!
Tia not only finished her UKC championship - she did it by going BEST IN SHOW under judge Nina Hancock-Sherrer on April 28th. Then she went to Canada and was awarded BOB at the regional specialty and finished her Can Championship!

Four years old and going STRONG!! Tia wins big in Hobbes, NM (Best of Breed) and then moves on to Garden City, KS with back-to-back Best of Breeds and a Group 4! (2004)
Although now five years old, Tia still drools like a monster!!!
Although my second Great Dane, and my second Champion, Tia and I did quite a few firsts together as well! Tia is my first UKC Champion & UKC Best in Show winner. She is also my first Canadian Champion and Canadian BISS winner! Tia is also my first attempt at the Rally ring where she has 1 Rally leg (she'd have more, but I haven't entered her except that once). She is also my first Therapy Dog (thanks to friend Julie Holmes for taking her!)!
Tia was bred three times, producing only 1 litter (a litter of 8 - 1 fawn boy; 1 fawn girl, 1 brindle girl, 3 brindle boys). Tia is 6 years old now and will not be bred again.
Tia continues to astonish me with her willingness to please and her ability to learn. I am hoping to finish both her Rally title and her Obedience (CD) title in 2006.
Not only beautiful, but smart and obedient!!! Tia qualifies as a Delta Therapy dog and then moves onto a qualifying leg for Rally Obedience under judge Janice Dearth. (April 2005)

Tia's personal accomplishments include finishing her AKC Champaionship at just 17 months of age (owner-handled). She finished her Canadian Championship in just 5 shows (with 4 Best of Winners & 3 Best of Breeds); and finished her UKC Championship in just 4 shows with 3 Group 1 and a Best In Show!!
Tia obtained her Therapy Dog title wtih ease by scoring nothing but TWO's (the highest possible score) in all categories.
